For all positve integers m, (m) = 3m when m is odd and (m) =1/2m when m is even, which of the following is equivalent to (9) X (6)

Answers : 81 , 54, 36, 27 ,18

I chose 81.. But answer says 27... I don't think the answer is right... Can anyone confirm?

(9)= 3*9

(6)= 6*1/2

3*9*3=81

应该是把.

the tricky thing is the answers were given like this: (81), (27), ... instead of 81, 27....so when 81 comes out as the result, and since it's an odd, it has to be set back to (m) = 3m, therefore, the answer is (27) = 81, answer is (27), answer 81 is correct, however, it's not available in any of the answers...81 is not (81).
