Many thanks for your prompt and detailed reply. Yeah I guess I was fortunate to get a promotion in a year since it was kinda a MT program and I happened to be part of the team engaging in severval outbound buyout deals in the first year.
Regarding the MBA/MS choice, for me it is actually a question about future career path. IB/PE would be my priority after finishing the program, which both MiF & some MBAs could fit, but just as you mentioned MS are less costly. However quant would hardly be in my consideration since I don't have any background in maths or programming, personally and practically I would prefer a banking/PE carerr path.
As for other entry requirements, I am not sure whether a not-so-good GPA (about 3.45/4.00) in a top-ranking (not top top) mainland university would be a major drawback for British graduate programs. Currently I am preparing for GMAT tests and ideally I will spend efforts to reach around 730-750.
