A prominent investor who holds a large stake in the burton tool company has recently claimed that the company is mimanaged,citing as evident the company's failure to slow production in response to a recent rise in its inventory of finished products.It is doubtful whether an investor's sniping at management can ever be anything other than counterproductive,but in this case it is clearly not justified.
请问红线部分该怎么翻译？

这种结构不用前后都看懂，能看懂前半句或者后半句就可以，另外半句直接取否就可以，因为前后意思相反才能转折。

这句看后半句in this case it is clearly not justified. it指代investor的claim。那么前半句的意思就是说investor的claim是justified的呗。

投资者紧盯经理们（的行为）会不会产生不良效应尚存疑虑，不过在这个case中，很明显是不合理的。
