的确，但男人后面不是说“that's about it!”means “也只有这些了。”就是说，除了对这些书有些感情以外，没别的了，侧面否定了女人说的“一定值很多钱”的说法。

退一步，如果不知道"that's about it"的意思，但听到前面有"but", 就知道男人一定要表达一个与前句相反的意思。也可以猜到，应该是否定女人的说法。
