My stance: DISAGREE!

1. the goal of a successful enterprise is to profit from operation. Therefore, the end products directly affect its profitability. To clients, the process of delievering the end results is irrelevant. It's the final results that counts.

Similarly, Olympic medals are awarded to those who strive for excellence and win the finals, not for those who attend the game. Otherwise, there would be no difference for any player.

2. In morden industry, the manufacture process has been dramatically automated by applying robotics and other self-controlled production lines. Hence, the fully automated unmanned producing process is of much less value than those old human production line. As components are getting cheaper to replace, it's hard to value the manufacting process more than products.

3. However, we do give certain credit to the process of making the end results happen. Innovation needs a lot of trials. Researchers learn from unsuccessful trials, modify and improve models, and eventually creat new products that benefit not only enterprises but also consumers. For instance, in drug industry, not only doctors, research scientists, and lab staff participate long innovative drug research, but also brave individuals join the group to test new drugs. For that, the process of making it happen shines the hard working, creativity, dedication and bravery of mankind in the battling with diseases.
