congratulations!

my interview lasts almost two hours. it seems that the question list was prepapred in advance by the school together with the interviewer. it covers a large range of topics including your career objectives and motivations for an mba. lbs places a lot of emphasis on leadership, interpersonal and communication skills as well as teamwork. be prepared to answer such questions with some of your real life experiences. the impromptu presentation is simple. u have 5 minutes to prepare and five minutes to make it. try to be concise and get to the point. make your presenttation logical based on a good line of reasoning. the main purpose is to test your communications skills in english.

for more tips on the interviews, i suggest u can to businessweek mba forum and search for lbs threads there.

most importantly, try to be relaxed and be yourself at the interview.

Hkzyl,Congratulations! Would you mind informing me about your GMAT Status and what the most important qualification for Sloan Fellowship is? I have the similar long time working experience in banks and am thinking of applying for this program the next year? But my GMAT is only 590. I wonder whether I have to retake it or not.Thanks!

jlj09i7, my GMAT score is 710, but the average for this program is 660. So it is better for you to retake the GMAT. This program is for middle-aged senior managers, so the successful working experience is most important to apply to the program!
