Dear XXX:
The School of Labor and Employment Relations has carefully reviewed your application for admission to our masters degree graduate program. We regret that we are unable to recommend to the Graduate College that you be admitted to the MHRIR graduate program. The School was fortunate to have a large number of well-qualified applicants and thus the competition for admission was quite keen. The LER graduate program is of moderate size. This enables faculty and staff to deliver quality education and service to our students. Therefore, we are able to admit only a few of the many qualified students who apply for admission each semester.
On behalf of the entire Admissions and Financial Aid Committee, we sincerely appreciate your interest in the MHRIR graduate program at the School of Labor and Employment Relations. Thank you for submitting your application and giving us the opportunity to review your credentials for admission.
Sincerely,
Professor Michael LeRoy
Chairperson, Admissions & Financial Aid Committee
