我个人觉得这道题可能要联系上下文吧.因为句子的意思是说" 在他的试验基础上,VF认为..."这个地方有take it considertation的意思,并没有表示他support什么东西,而仅仅只是根据前面得出的一个猜想,或者说还没有得到证实的东东,因此和hypothesized意思更接近. (当时这道题我也错了,也是想了很久)
