Should the government support artists or should the artists support themselves?
When it comes to the supporting of artists, ideas are different from people to people. As the number of artists increased day by day, the supporting become a very important issue.
Whether the government should give some supporting to the artists. Some people may hold the opinion that the artists are the their own profession, so the government has no responsebility to pay for the cost especially with the money from citizien. While i believed that the government should support the artists by all means. My arguments as followed.
First of all, as we all know, artists are the special group that make a lot of contribution to the culture of human being. And the development of culture is essential for the folk. It is said that people can not live without air. But i will say that people can not live without artists also. Just take a example, Michael Jackson has a famous song named “earth”. In this song, he advocate people to protect the environment. And it indeed impact a lot of people all around the world. At that period of time, people prefer to use some republic transportation such as bus or From that, we see that the famous artist always has the special power. If artist has the positive influence to the people, i think the government should pay to support them to create much more stuff that benefit the people.
Besides, compositions of artists could also bring much economic value. The outstanding compositions famous around the world and help the country to establish a remarkable reputation. Just like the popular pop music named “gangnam style” composited by PSY, a celebrity from Korea. And this song could make other country’s people began to learn korean or want to know about the culture of korea. So artists’ composition is really a fantastic advertisement of cultural.
Third, a historical creation needs a lot of time to finish, so most artists are really poor. For some reason, they can not do a job while focus on their creation. I think the government should organize a group and give some support according to the situation. For instance, the government could make the painting as a required course in the primary school or they can make some AD service of artists. Only the people take the art as a big deal, the development of art has a wider road.
Maybe some people claimed that the probability is so tiny to cultivate a artist. But i believed that cultivating a artist not the real aim that the government support the art industry. I think the government should support the artists and let the people know how important the art education is. Only in this way more and more people in the country could have fun with the art. The international reputation of this country could be better.
In all, the government should do something to support the artists. Not only the art is important like air and the artists’ composition could be essence of the culture, but also the people need soul food in their life.
