急问！！！关于Rice的Transcript是否必须要WES出具？

快提交的时候，突然在application instruction读到这么一句：
"if you are an international applicant, your transcript must be submitted in English.
Additionally, your undergraduate degree must be equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree and your G.P.A. must be converted to a 4.0 scale. To obtain an English credential translation
(required) or evaluation (recommended), please contact one of the following companies:
Educational Credential Evaluators https://www.ece.org/"

瞬间觉得要悲剧，这都现在这个节骨眼上了怕是要来不及。想问下申请过的筒子们是必须要WES公证版的transcript么？学校教务处开具的可以么？还有学位证学历证也必须公证一起提交么？

求好心人解释，急啊

Based on the above info, it's very hard to believe that RICE will require you to provide WES

I've asked Paige to double check. But I don't believe they will mandate you do that.

RICE的R2截止日期是1月6日，LZ那么早提交，是因为RICE是rolling的吗？

谢谢啦~我也是这么想，可是看到写着credential translation(required)总觉得心里发毛。
想问下之前申到rice的前辈是不是也是提交的自己学校开具的成绩单

应该不是，我就是essay准备得都差不多了，才发现成绩单这个问题.....

听上届的学姐说不用的，之前也问过小秘，说只要是学校sealed envelope就行

Paige said they recommended but wouldn't need it.

If your undergraduate institution can provide you with a 4.0 scale GPA like many colleges in China do, that should be good enough.
