The speaker in the lecture draws doubt on the reading by stating dinasours are not endotherns. While the author of the reading passage s\argues that the dinasours are actually endotherns with considerable evidence provided.
First of all, the lecture diagrees and sights that the polar area in actient time when dinasours lived there was not as cold as today. It was even warm enough for repitles to live. Even when later climate changed, the dianosours could migrate to warmer places or inhabitire. However, the author of the passage claimed that dinosaur fossils discovered in polar region can lend strong support to the the idea that the dinosaurs are active in the cold surroundings, which made them the endotherns.
Secondly, the lecture claimed that the positon of the legs of dnosaurs are to support more weight instesd of for runnig faster. With the legs posed underneath the body, the dinasour can have larger body whil\ch will definety do good to their situations in the predators world. On the other han, the reading conclude that the legs of dinosaurs underderneath the body, unlike the reptile such as crocodiles, proved to be one reason that the dinosaus were entherms.
Finally, the speaker of the listening lecture claimed that the harersian canals has nothing to do with dinasour being endotherms. The growth reins in the bones of the dianosaurs indicated that there was a period when dianosaurs growed quickly and then slower, which marks the defining growth patterns of reptiles. They tend to grow quicker in warmer environment and slow donw when it becomes cooler. On the contrary, the writer stated that the haversian canals density in bones is a typical characteristics of animals who maintan internal temperaure of 37c.
