不太明白选项B中than从句与主句是怎么平行的？好象两边结构很不一样，是有省略吗？那位高手能帮我把省略的部份补出来？

我认为是这样子的：B。 rice has protein of higher quality than that（protein of higher quality） in wheat

我觉得这题里的that是代词, 不是连词.

本句实际上是一个倒装的问题.

* 首先, rice是In addition to having more protein than wheat does的主语, 所以第二分句的开头肯定是rice.

* 其次是一个倒装的关系, 把句子顺过来读就是: Rice has protein of higher quality than that(protein) in wheat in addition to having more protein than wheat does.

* 最后, than的后面不一定都是跟从句的. 你如果一定要跟从句的话, 那么这句就应该这么说: Rice has...than wheat has.
