This is the first year they come out with the master of accounting program in UW tacoma campus. It is brand new so no one knows how good it is. I looked at the courses that they offer at UW Tacoma, and it is very different than the one that is offered at UW Seattle. UW Tacoma does not have a specific track like tax or audit, it is only a general accounting master degree. My personal opinion: I think MAcc at UW Tacoma is mainly for students who want to get enough credit hours to meet the requirement for the Washington State CPA.
