166 - People recognize a difference between children and adults. What events (experiences or ceremonies) make a person an adult? Use specific reasons and examples to explain your answer

When it comes to the issue with respect to what event makes a person adult, people are likely to respond differently. If I were faced with the topic, I would like to say that graduating from high schools transfer a person to an adult. In the following discussion, I will present reasons and evidence to support my opinion.

It is an obvious fact that when people graduating from high schools, they are ready to take responsibilities as grown-ups. On the one hand, most of the students reach the age at which they are no longer considered to receive special protections from the government or the other organizations. On the other hand, the high school graduates have fully developed their characters and sensibilities. Both of them vividly indicate that students graduating from high schools are not only physically, but also mentally mature to be adults.

Another head and chief reason is that from schools, people obtain academic knowledge, which enable them to make a living once they approach to the society. It is no better illustration that can demonstrate the view. During the time when my friend, Mark, studied in high school, he took computer programming courses which also offered co-op opportunities. After finishing high school, he was accepted by a computer business in a few weeks. Don’t you think this example quoted above is very persuasive?

The last reason that I would like to mention is that people turn to be more independent. Whatever individuals plan for their future, studying or working, a large number of them decide to leave for metropolis, where enrich potential opportunities and challenges for farther development. Since people can handle much more than ever before, such as, housework, although alone in the unfamiliar circumstance, they can properly look after themselves.

To sum up, given the reasons discussed above, which sometimes intertwine to form an organic whole and thus become more persuasive, we can safely arrive the conclusion that graduation of high school is the event that makes a person adult.

the essay is apperently using a model that I read more than hundred time. I cannot say anything about that, since some of test-takers score highly. however, try to write in your own way, if you can, it can be easy and faster when you write in the real test.
