Collegeand universities should offer students courses to prepare students for thefuture before they start working. Have you got trouble in finding jobs? Haveyou got confused about how to meet the need of the company? Have you been eagerfor some advices from someone who have experiences? If you have ever had suchexperience, you would have noticed that how important it is to have coursesbefore work. To begin with, an advantage of having acourse before get to work is that we can find out that which kind of work is wereally need. For example, there is a course in my college for the architecturestudents, which designs to help the students to understand the differencebetween different kinds of jobs. After taking the course, many students saidthat they eventually find out which way they should go in the future. So helpfulas the course is, I could by no means no to recommend that it should be offeredby the college. In addition, by taking the course, we canfind out what kind of person is needed by the company, as a result, we can tryto make ourselves to be this kind of person. According to a report in theNational Statistic Magazine, 80% of the interviewees were rejected because theydidn’t meet the need of the company. No one can deny the truth behind the number. It indicates that it is important for us to understand the need of the company. However, the courses before work enable us to have the opportunity to knowthat. Last but not the least, sometimes the schoolcould ask some people who was working in a company to attend the course and givea speech. Just as once in my school, a famous architecture Toyo Ito dropt byand given us a speech. Not only can we benefit from the speech, it also givenus the chance to meet the success people in our field. I will never forget thetime that I meet the great master. And many of my classmates had make up theirmind to work hard in order to be a person just like Ito. Admittedly, there are some disadvantages forthe school to offer this kind of course. Such as additional money would bespend. However, I believe that it pays to give the students these courses, forthe reason that I have stated. In conclusion, I strongly agree with the pointthat the college should offer the o prepare students for the future before theystart working. |
