求问这段话怎么理解？

这是阅读大全第39篇里的一段话：
Although both systems reduced reliance on skilled labor, Nobleclearly prefers R/P, with its inherent acknowledgment of workers’skills: unlike N/C, its programs were produced not by engineers attheir computers, but by skilled machinists, who recorded their ownmovements to “teach” machines to duplicate those movements.

"unlike N/C"后面的its是指代N/C，还是R/P？

我认为总归是指代N/C的，但后面有道题目：

4. The passage suggests which of the following about N/C automationin the machine-tool industry?
(A) It displaced fewer skilled workers than R/P automation did.
(B) It could have been implemented either by experienced machinistsor by computer engineers.
(C) It was designed without the active involvement skilled machinists.
(D) It was more difficult to design than R/P automation was.
(E) It was technically superior to R/P automation.

按照这个答案，its指代的应该是R/P. 那是不是因为那个“too close”的原则？its指代N/C太近了，所以its指代R/P呢？

顶啊！！发现很多阅读里面有类似的句型，就是说了A，unlike B后，后面的内容我就不知道到底是说A还是B了。
这个也一起回答吧。。。

整个句子理解起来ITS也应该是R/P啊，不同意N/C,它的...
此外，一个句子里面出现的代词一开始指的什么，就只能指一个，如果都是IT了，那就句子不清楚了，语法上是有错误的。（不知道说的清楚否？）
所以，unlike后面修饰的还是R/P才对。
