OG里面的121题，就说抄书的有4个人，中间断断续续，最后那个人写的信里有提到1148年的瘟疫，然后说猜测这本书是1148年出品的。

答案说1100s只有一次大瘟疫
我觉得这个也太weak了吧？
很可能第一个人死了，第二个人和第三个人干了段时间不干了，然后第四个人给完成了。不一定跟那个瘟疫有关系呀

个人认为：
题干说由四个不同的人先后完成，而第四个人在他的信中提到一场1148年的大瘟疫，因此推断出这个东西是1148年完成的。

D选项说在12世纪期间只有这一场瘟疫，也就意味这1148年就是那一场瘟疫，因此支持了结论。如果说12世纪有好几场瘟疫，例如1120年，1148年,1150年,1168年，那么Codex Berinensis这个东西就不能确定是不是1148年产生的了。也有可能是其他几个年份产生的了。

A无关;B 这场瘟疫持续十个月可以是任何一年的十个月；C也不能起到支持作用；E选项说Codex Berinensis的页数都不能确定年份。
总之，结论就是要确定年份，只有D确定了年份。

之前也想不明白，困惑我的地方在于：第一：第四个作者完全可能是在瘟疫结束很久后才写这本书的；因此，即便是1100s只有一场plague也不充分，完全可以是1148年发生了瘟疫，那个作者是1198年写的书，然后他提到1148年发生的一件大事也很正常；第二，为什么一定是plague导致了disruption？
后来觉得解答可能是这样：
（1）Its first 80 pages are by a single copyist, but the remaining 20 pages are by three different copyists, which indicates some significant disruption.
因为后20页由三个不同的人完成，完成的数量远远少于第一个人，所以暗示后三人写书的时间就是disruption发生的时间。否则，在没有disruption的时候写书，不至于一直都是broken的内容。疑问一解决；
（2）那么这个disruption是什么呢？书中提到的1148年plague是一个非常合适的理由，要注意到，问题是选择加强1148（而非加强plague就是disruption）的选项——也就是说，这里的加强是加强了年份1148发生plague的时候写了书，已经默默地假设了plague就是这场disruption。因此D：1100年期间只有这一场plague就是正确选项。

但需要注意到：此处的加强没有完全证明这个结论就是对的，只是加强了原结论而已；它还可以被削弱，比如完全可以提出其他的理由（像这一阶段还发生了其他大事可以作为disruption），而非plague就是这场disruption。但这就与本题无关了。

樓上的解釋是在太贊了!!

我覺得這道題目困惑了很多人就是因為它的gap 實在太多了, 而ABCDE 中唯一能補上其中一個gap 的D 初看之下也完全風馬牛不相及

其實我想吐槽的是!!!! 誰規定那群作者活不過1200年了啊!! 誰規定不能在1201 年發生一場plague 然後滅了這群人啊!! D 選項我一看到1100就以無關排除了啊TATATATAT

我觉得是不是这道题的题干中还隐含了这么一个假设:这本书的后20页是在一年之内完成的，否则就不会把发生在某年的瘟疫和这本书的完成年份联系起来了？望nn说明

1100s是指1100-1109十年还是1100-1200的一百年呢？
