我的问题是：我可以理解为 D 中的 determined 和 differed 都是过去分词表被动，一起来修饰local times 啊，为什么不对呢？总觉得differing 不对啊，differ 不是总是用被动语态吗？求点拨啊！谢谢啦！！

因为DE中的determined是过去分词不是动词，所以应该是和另一个分词平行，而differed这里是动词所以不行，所以选E，前面是过去分词后面是现在分词平行~

differ没办法被动~被动就变成“被不同”了，这意思上说不过去

一般见的differed都只是一般过去时

如果是这样我就可以理解了~谢谢啊，但是有疑问的是differ 一般不能表示被动吗？his book is differed from mine. it is differed from countries to countries 不对吗？非要是 it is differing from countries to countries 吗？

都不对~~这种情况要么直接用主动，his book differed from mine

要么用形容词变主系表结构：his book is different from mine，
作表语时，有形容词表示同样的意思的一般不用分词
