A.A with speeds much higher than is
B.B with speeds that are much higher than are
C.C at much higher speeds as are
D.D at much higher speeds than that
E.E at speeds much higher than are

我选了D，答案是E，想不明白！求赐教！！！

这个that 没有指代对象吧。

E的话全部还原试试： speeds that are much higher than speeds that are currently possible

than 前后应该是句子比句子

即使要指代speeds也应该是用those复数，而不是用代词that
