OG解释是： P suggestes ECO will increase profit,but No suggestion that these companies will then abandon ecoefficiency as agoal

我就不理解了，OG为什么说A选项的意思是这些公司把 abandon ecoefficiency当成目标了？！什么意思啊

再说了文章中也说到这句话了呀，15行“Moreover, there is no

guarantee that increased economic growth from

ecoeffi ciency will come in similarly ecoeffi cient ways,

since in today’s global markets, greater profi ts may

be turned into investment capital that could easily be

reinvested in old-style eco-ineffi cient industries.”

所以两个问题，1）OG这个解释不理解 2）A到底为什么错？

（否定含义）that the company will continue to make further improvements in ecoefficiency. 相当于放弃E为目标
P suggests that ecoefficiency will increase companies' profits(E增P), but no suggestion that these companies will therefore then abandon ecoefficiency as a goal（放弃E为目标）.
文章暗示E增P，但并不意味着

放弃E为目标。(E)A company that meets its ecoefficiency goals公司增E is unlikely（否定含义）to invest its increased profits in the development of new and innovative ecoefficiency measures.同A
no suggestion that companies are likely to abandon ecoefficient strategies once they have realized increased profits from such strategies.

与楼主一样的问题，为什么A 的解释是说他abandon 了。不明白，楼主懂了吗
