78people’s attitudes are determined more by their immediate situation or surroundings than by society as a whole.

真心觉得这个文章很难写，写的也像个小学作文！

大家给点思路吧！！！
The speaker would prefer assert that people’s attitudes are depending on their immediate situations. To agree or disagree with it is a matter balancing its pros and cons. In my point of view, I agree with it partly. At the same time, however, in different situations, there may be some questions about it, thus people’s attitudes only judged by immediate situations might erode its own purposes.

To be fair, I concede that the immediate situations do really have some important influence on populace’s attitudes. Here are some important aspects to agree with the speaker’s assertion. In the first place, people often are impacted by what they are doing recently. For example, the man whose fan of the Harry Potty feels so crazy when he sees his favorite star—J.K. Rowling, the editor of Harry Potter. In the second place, people’s attitudes are also influence by what others say. For example, Jake tells Penny something about Jim’ bad behaviors. While Penny like Jim very much, she does not like him after Jake’s talking. Therefore, I think this view is realism.

However, people’s attitudes are determined more by society. The significant reason is that we live in the society, and we do really be impacted by the whole society. For supporting this assertion, I ‘d like to set Confucianism as an example. Confucius is the great figure in China, especially his ideal of Confucianism. The core of the Confucianism is hard working, polity and peace. Even if his opinion is not accepted by the contemporaries, it has widely effect in China
now. The populace in China are the best examples to verify the point.

Aside from the foregoing proviso, moreover, another purpose why I essentially disagree with the speaker is that the other factors, like history, may be change the people’s attitudes. For instance, a student who inspired by the courage and like history’s great explorers might decide as a result to pursue a career in archeology, although his dream is to be an astronaut forever. This scenario might seems far-fetched, this sort of concern is being raised already beyond the statement.

To sum up, although I admit that there are some advantages of determining people’s attitudes by immediate situations, I still think that the society also take the significant role in keeping or changing people’s attitudes. The optimal approach, for different people with different occupies, is a balanced one that take situations, society, history or other personalities into account.

这篇写得很好，是不是想了很久？真正考试的时候可想不了很久：）

作者从两方面验证社会的影响，文化和历史。另外一个例子是流行。首暂时环境影响的例子是，一个韩剧明星穿一件衣服或者化妆发型好看，自己也很想模仿；另外追捧几大名牌是社会效应。

2. important influence on populace’s attitudes (singular, attitude). ----we are not talking statistics so you should refer to people a people
3. Harry Potty feels so crazy (excited) when he sees his ---- I can tell you are a Harry Potter fan

5. something about Jim’(s) bad behaviors (singular, behavior).

I can't believe you didn't go more into personalities, in this subject personalities are very relevant. good job anyways

我也谈谈自己对这个题目的理解吧，感觉是不怎么好展开。
即时环境和整个社会对人的影响：我能不能吧即时环境理解成自己所身处的小环境，而整个社会是个大环境。两个环境的作用，不能一概而论：在有些时候小的决定人，比如我们有些人很想学好英语，但如果自己总是身处一个说中国话的圈子，即使在英语国家也不能说得很好的英语。在有些时候，大环境决定人，比如，抗日清朝末年，有些人出身很显赫，家境富有，但为了革命，跟家里断绝关系，和仁人志士走到一起，成为了民族革命的先驱。但更多时候，人是受双重环境的影响的，体现出了一点矛盾的地方，比如我们对不是发生在身边的一些事情总会表现很大的热情并表达出很理性的观点（整个社会舆论都是这样），而在自己身边发生的事，却熟视无睹，闲得很冷漠。

(2)But we should not ignore the function of society, either. From the macro point of view, our society as a whole is also the surroundings that act consciously or unconsciously roles in our attitudes toward daily events. It is our polity that makes our attitudes towards crimes definite. And the economy of one’s social influences attitudes to our investment and purchase.

(3)In sum, people’s attitudes are determined by lots of factors. And attitudes are formed in unconsciously way, it is impossible for us to judge which way is more essential.
