答案选C, 而且仅凭一个单词“renaissance”就能得出答案，楼主对此比较困惑，望大家帮忙分析一下，感激不尽啦~

也就是说明：跨国公司先经历过了全盛期，又跌入了低谷期，直到现在原文讨论的复兴期

C.Transnational cooperation has in the past been both more common and less common than it is now among United States firms.

Correct，说明全盛期的时候比现在more common，低谷期的时候比现在less common

嗯，Thank you~也就是说这类问information provided的题有可能就只是针对文中小部分内容，可以是一句话，一个单词

一般是针对一个结论或结论核心词

应该是modest和renaissance两个词来确定答案的，modest是适中的意思，说明有比这次复兴程度范围更大的复兴，也有比这次复兴的程度范围更小的复兴，符合选项中more common 和 less common的说法
