请教OG12 137 看不明白的结构

我对这个句子的结构理解是who和whose分别连接两个定语从句修饰composer，中间用but连接。OG对于B的解释“The two clauses are not parallel, lack a
coordinating conjunction, and do not describe the same thing”

像这种两个定语从句之间也是一定要连词连接的吗？

我认为从逻辑意义上来理解，这两个定语从句必须用连词连接。这个感觉有点像列举吧……

我觉得这道题的问题是regains是修饰谁的，如果修饰composer的，那么应该是并列结构，但从这个答案看的话，应该是修饰reputation的，所以就是两个定语从句，中间用but相连。anyway，单从做题角度，其它选项的错误很明显啊。

同样关注这个问题。
（个人觉得，是不是因为没有用连词,且whose也可以指物的，所以就让人感觉不到到底在修饰谁。呃... 可能不怎么说得过去，期待NN解释）

如果没有连词的话直接用whose，前面的逗号也很confusing吧
