【求助】kaplan上的一道CR题

原题是这样的。
A public health official reported that 60percent of the children at summer school had never had the measles or chickenpox, and that of this 60 percent not one child has ever been observed to eatthe cheese served in the school lunches. From this he concluded that childrenwho abstain from cheese products will protect themselves from most childhooddiseases.
Each of the following, if true, wouldstrengthen the official's argument EXCEPT:
A) Medically speaking, whatever serves to inhibit measlesand chicken pox will generally inhibit the entire spectrum of childhooddiseases.
B) The observations the official carried out were extremelyaccurate, and all those observed to abstain from cheese at school did, in fact,abstain.
C) The children's eating habits are the same at school as anywhereelse, and those who abstain from cheese products at school do so in general.
D) Recent researches has pointed to a deficiency in cheeseproducts as one of the major causes of measles and chicken pox infections.
E) Most cheese and cheese products harbor bacteria that areknown to be causative agents for many childhood diseases, such as measles andchicken pox.
D选项中说研究发现在cheese中的deficiency（缺陷，缺乏）是measles和chicken pox的病因，不吃cheese就没有病因，就strengthen了。为什么要选D呢？不解，求牛牛指教。

自己顶，难道是deficiency和介词in(而不是of)的问题？

题目的结论是，不吃cheese的孩子们保护了他们自己不得chickenpox,换句话影射了cheese导致chickenpox。 D说乳酪制品的缺乏是chickenpox传染的主要原因。D和题目是完全相反的意思，最后题目要的不strenghen的那项（问题最后一个EXCEPT).

是么，我觉得D是乳酪的缺陷，不是乳酪的缺乏。如果是你理解的那样的话的确完全相反，如果是缺陷呢，就刚好strengthen了。
