是确认，证实的意思吗？ premise identifies conclusion

还是只是表述的意思

第一题。
首先它第一个划线部分中已经说明了目的：make large profits while they still can，为了实现目的通常采取的strategy是charge the maximum possilbe price，但是呢巨大的利益会驱使其他公司迅速开发，这样不就意味着其实能采取高价策略的时间变少了么？最后一句划线来了，所以说，为了取得最大的利益，（正确的策略是）charge less than the greatest possible price。

E中a goal that the argument rejects，并不是，整个argument的目的都是maximum or make large profit，讨论的是为了达到这个目的，应该用的正确的strategy是神马。

这题清楚了么？

第二题

明确conclusion： a given level of output, Delta's operation now causes less fossil fuel to be consumed than it did formerly，the answer, clearly, is yes。

第二个句子一个because，很明显，没问题，直接用数据对这个结论表示support
第一个句子，我个人感觉说是support并不好，更像是一个content，但是话说这个content是最后导致conclusion的，姑且算是弱效support吧。
