大家帮我瞅瞅这几句manhattan上面的话什么意思呗。。。各种小困惑啊。。。

1、不定式虽然可以做名词，但跟普通名词还是有差别，在前置短语里，不能用不定式(要用占位符it，如chapter12里)，且不定式也不能被形容词修饰。
这句话啥意思？不定式被形容词修饰是怎么个景？不都是不定式修饰别的东西么，怎么还有别的东西修饰不定式了捏？

2、n1 + 状语（比较对象）+ verb + more + adj/adv + thanthose + 状语

The clothes hanging on the racks inside the store looked more appealing thanthose in the store window.

还有这个，说clothes hanging on the racks 是状语，与those in the sotre window比较。。

我怎么觉得不对呢？应该是clothes（hanging on hte racks)inside the sore 与those in the sore windows才是名词+状语的比较吧?

这两种表达那个对？manhattan上说两个都对，但是我觉得第二个是run-on句型啊，请大家帮我瞅瞅呗

第二个是句子后面加上一个 absolute phrase（似乎是这个名字）， discovered 是pase participle做后置定语，整个逗号后面就是一个短语。

我不确定后面这个是同位语还是 absolut phrase。但是这用逗号后面一个修饰的短语是没有错的。

absolut phrase 和 gerund(动名词) 都是可以在逗号后面做一个伴随状语的，就是前面整个句子，或者是main verb 。

我觉得应该不是同位语。。
那个absolute phrase，是否可以理解成为跟动名词一样做状语，然后absolute phrase其实就是一个句子少了宾语？

The absolute phrase construction gives us a way to link a second sentence to the first.
