曼哈顿里的一道逻辑题

A recent article stated that only 5.5% of American colleges grant the majority of their degrees in the liberal arts. Citing this, a reader wrote to lament that this was further evidence of the decline of academic rigor in American post high school education.

   Which of the following is an assumption on the part of the reader?--答案C。
   A.The percentage of American colleges granting liberal arts degrees would continue to drop.
   B.All colleges should grant the majority of their degrees in the liberal arts.               C.Most post-secondary scientific, engineering, and vocational training does not involve as much academic rigor as liberal arts training.
   D. Academic rigor is the most important aspect of post high school education.
      E.Of the colleges that do not grant the majority of their degrees in the liberal arts, many granted fewer than a quarter of their degrees in the liberal arts.

逻辑链:只有5.5%的学校给这个文科的学位——表明未来学术严谨性的下降
这是为啥捏？？？给的学位少不恰好说明学校很严谨吗。。
C项取否的话，就是说其他学科跟这个文科一样严谨。。额。。怎么削弱结论了呢。。
求问此题的解释，理解不了。。。

第一套曼哈顿模考V有40弄得我还窃喜了一番，结果第二套就直接垮掉了。。。只有28.。。。
想知道这个曼哈顿6套会根据题目对错调整题目难度吗。。。还是就是6套题而已。。。

好像自己有点懂了。。。
因为文科的学位给的少，就说明学校严谨，那为什么未来的严谨程度会下降捏？~~因为其他学科不像这个文科一样严谨，其他学科给的学位多，所以未来学术变得不严谨

如果其他学科也一样严谨，那么未来的学术严谨度就不应该下降~~

我感觉C就是fill the logic gap 读完题干可以发现前提和结论之间不是顺理成章的因此要找出连接两者的assupmtion

Premise: Only a small percentage of US colleges grant majority of degrees in the liberal arts
Conclusion: US post-high school education will suffer academic rigor decline

很明显重点从liberal arts degree到了academic rigor 下面就是要找到两者的connection

C: post-secondary scientific, engineering, and vocational training does not involve as much academic rigor as liberal arts training 这么多学科都没有liberal arts和academic rigor 关系大 (不太能表述出来involve怎么翻译.. 意会一下) 间接表明liberal arts的变化是会影响academic rigor的
取非的话是这些其他学科和文科一样与学术严谨有关因此不能判断仅仅文科变化是否会影响学术严谨了即weaken conclusion

刚好做到这道题，题目里包含一个通识，即学科包含liberal art和science（或者简单理解art和others）。
题目逻辑链： liberal art 下降 → （indicate） academic rigor 下降
如果其它学科（science or others）里包含了和academic rigor的东西，则逻辑链不成立；
反之，如果其它学科不包含academic rigor，则art的下降就能充分反映rigor的下降

只有5.5%的学校颁发艺术学位，这说明academic rigor的下降（此处academic rigor指的是学术性，可以理解为教育水平吧）

gap：艺术学位代表academic rigor

假设：其他科目都没有艺术的academic rigor高（补充了gap－－艺术学位代表academic rigor）

这个题目的逻辑是：academic rigor高，才有更多的人获得学位。

我觉得应该是这样。。。
