汗啊，看不懂题目意思，哪位能帮忙指点一下，谢谢！

98. On a scale that measures the intensity of a certain
phenomenon, a reading of n + 1 corresponds to an
intensity that is 10 times the intensity corresponding
to a reading of n. On that scale, the intensity
corresponding to a reading of 8 is how many times
as great as the intensity corresponding to a reading
of 3 ?

一个尺度上面的刻度是表示强度的。n+1刻度相当于n刻度的10倍（比如刻度6相当于刻度5的10倍）。在这个尺度上，刻度8代表的强度是刻度3代表的强度的多少倍？所以是10的（8-3）次方 =10的5次方

在一种度量中测量一种现象的强度，读数n+1对应的强度是n所对应强度的10 倍。在这个标度中， 8所对应的强度是3的对应强度的多少倍？
