Often patients with ankle fractures that are stable,and thus do not require surgery,are given follow-up x-rays because their orthopedists are concerned about possibly having misjudged the stability of the frature.When a number of follow-up x-rays were reviewed ,however,all the fracturethat had intitally been judged stable were found to have healed correctly.Therefore,it is a waste of money to order follow-up x-rays of ankle fractures intially judged stable.

The conclusion is that it is a waste of money to order follow-up x-rays of ankle fracture initially judged stable. If B is right, many ankle injuries tested by initial x-ray show no fracture at all, then it is definitely a waste of money to do a follow-up x-rays test again. So B supports the conclusion. Not C.

答案应该是C，这题有难度，结论是当 a number of follow-up x-rays were reviewed ，发现本来被判定stable的确实是healed correctly，因此it is a waste of money to order follow-up x-rays
从题干的第一句可以看出because their orthopedists are concerned about possibly having misjudged ，就是说他们为什么要不停的review呢？是因为怕自己第一次诊错了，因为不相信自己的判断

C选项加强了结论，C的意思是每次review的结果都是由几家医院的医生一起判定的，也就是说准确率是很高的，因此可以打消医生最初的concern

这题很绕，B的错误在于原文讨论的是ankle fractures 是不是 stable，而B讨论的是not to involve any fracture of the ankle，根本就没有受伤，所以是无光选项应该排除，这题细心点，我觉得只能用排除法来做

C is correct. I misread the stimulus.
