个人觉得UCLA没有好到可以放弃有奖的UCI的地步。同样是UC系列。不要跟钱过不去。Irvine在橘郡中心。同样是经济很发达的地方。安德森再好，LA生活成本又高。你完全可以开车到LA找工作。总之UCI有奖不差的。UCI声誉在南加州一样很好。虽然asian学生真的偏多了一点。UCI有university of Chinese immigrants之称。

suppose you make 10k more out of UCLA than UCI, it only take 6 yrs to catch up; 60k is nothing in face of the crazy housing price in OC....

After all, it is a two year experience during our so short & limited life. So just follow your heart.

Money we can make anytime, donot need to hurry. Personal opinion

建议楼主到两边学校仔细打听一下这几年中国护照的学生的方向专业、就业情况、项目的其他具体情况，和自己的职业背景比较一下。然后再做决定。

个人倾向 UCLA。。。。60K两年现在看着挺多的，真的从长远看就没有那么多啦。

oh, come on; Irvine to LA is like one hour drive, you could easily find a place in between

talk with your husband. once you got married, it became a couple's decision. i don't have much faith in long distance relationship, i guess not many do. As Windmaple said, maybe you can find something in between.

as to money, i got one question. How much monetary gain will the school's brand name bring you? if you go to UCI and get the same job as the one you get if you go to UCLA, does it mean that there is no premium at all?
