Gosh, I hate to tell people to leave money on the table!  J  But you will make that $60K back in three years if you get a GREAT MBA from UCLA.  $60K seems like a lot today, but five years from now it will be a drop in the bucket, as we say.  Go to UCLA!  You will make your money back, I assure you.

it suddenly came to me that Jon Frank has his own position in all the arguments he made. Since he was in the the admission consulting business, is it possible that he suggests everyone to apply to top business schools or say go to the best b school you can get in, but top b schools are very competitive, so you probably need to hire some admission consultant for your application? Maybe direct or indirect, he can win some businesses from his "free" advice.

Sorry Jon, I am just saying what I thought. You are a very nice guy.

不止是他吧,你细心留意下,这个论坛上发帖口吻类似的不是少数,所以又回到传销的问题了。

That's a possibility. But if he says the other way around, maybe you'll think he is 'vicious' in some other way. Who knows?
Come on, it's an adult forum. People should have their own thoughts and be mature enough to avoid being manipulated.

right, that's why i just raised a question, not making a final judgement. I agree people should have their own thoughts. but even those who think themselves are mature enough got brain washed by some crafty people. an extreme case would be Shutter Island.

What I am calling for here is to think critically.
