69. Scientists have modifi ed feed corn genetically,
increasing its resistance to insect pests. Farmers who
tried out the genetically modifi ed corn last season
applied less insecticide to their corn fi elds and still got
yields comparable to those they would have gotten
with ordinary corn. Ordinary corn seed, however,
costs less, and what these farmers saved on
insecticide rarely exceeded their extra costs for seed.
Therefore, for most feed-corn farmers, switching to
genetically modifi ed seed would be unlikely to increase
profi ts.
题目大意是:
基因改良的种子种在地理花费的杀虫剂的钱少能够获得一样的收成但是这个省下来的杀虫剂的钱比买种子花的钱不多于是得到结论是种植这种基因改良的种子不会带来利润的增加

这个题读是读的懂~~但是~~唉~~不理解~~怎么读答案怎么纠结挖~~~
麻烦各路高手指点一下~~~顺便讲一下关于EVALUATE和EXPLAN的做题方法吧~~~最近发现做题速度老是跟不上去~~~

答案选D
原题说
1，转基因玉米亩产与传统玉米差不多（收入可能一样，如果两种玉米价格一样）
2，转基因玉米种子比传统玉米种子贵（成本的一部分贵）
3，种转基因玉米不如种传统玉米

要分析利润谁高，必须知道
1，收入是否一样，即两种玉米是否卖一样的价格
2，成本究竟谁高
可知D选项是必须的，因为原题给的理由是转基因玉米减少杀虫剂使用带来的成本节约没有“和传统玉米相对的种子成本”高，当然我们得弄清这些转基因玉米农户有没有使用过量的杀虫剂，说不定根本不需要用杀虫剂，而杀虫剂很贵，种转基因玉米更加省钱呢？？？？

选项A是什么意思啊？B的影响为什么是相同的？迷惑。。。

A的意思是: 确定有没有一些吃玉米的害虫是杀虫剂和转基因都无法对付的. (无关,因为题目要对比的是普通玉米+杀虫剂,和转基因玉米+少量杀虫剂的成本)
B: 确定农民卖玉米的价格是否近几年维持稳定 (还是无关. 没有说转基因玉米可以卖比较多钱啊,区别仅在于省农药钱)
