why 选B,而不是A.

Both a and b don't make sense. Question says winter months is the reason coz lack of nutrition. B says 最后一个月重要，有没说最后一个月是不是在冬天。你把c,d,e 贴出来！

nutrient-poor diets of some expectant mothers - expectant mothers：马上要临盆的妈妈，所以和 last month of the mother’s pregnancy 含义差不多。所以是支持原因的。A是有点WEAKEN：题干说“when it was hardest for people to get, or afford, a variety of fresh foods”，注意有个afford，所以多少和degree of economic distress有点关系。

在冬天出生的话，最后一个月应该也是冬天吧

A是无关，因为文中说的是因为冬天没有多少新鲜食物导致胎儿有问题，但是这与经济萧条没有半毛钱的关系

个人解题思路：
题干要表达的意思：
冬天没有新鲜食物导致怀孕的妇女缺乏营养导致婴儿脑发育不良
再简单一点就是：营养不良导致婴儿脑发育不良
所以只要选择能support 营养不良和婴儿脑发育有关的选项就可以。

假定A选项正确，那么如果整年都经济萧条，孕妇营养不良，在任何月份生孩子都容易得脑发育不良，什么结论都不会支持。
