·        这道题题库里没有,也不知道它的最准确的题干是啥。大概如下。 希望大家给给点评语。练习时超时一会,下次一定会避免。

the most experienced candidate is the candidate for the leadership position. Or experienced candidate is more suitable for  the leadership position.

Is the experienced candidate more suitable for the leadershipposition, as the author asserts? I tend to concur with the author’s generalassertion insofar as to some extent, experience is essential for becoming aleader. However, the author unnecessarily extents the broad assertion to the irreversibleextreme while failing to consider other crucial factors in determining aleadership position. In my view, leaders are not necessarily the mostexperienced candidate as leadership skills constitute far more than experiences.

To begin with, the paramount reason to buttress mystandpoint is that having experiences alone is insufficient to serve as a goodleader. A leader should have a variety of skills, such as coordinating andstrategic forecasting, most of which are not guaranteed by having experience, alone and instead can be achieved without the premise of experiences. Therefore, leadership potentials should be valued more than the degree of experiences, especially when all the candidates have certain degree of experiences. On theother hand, if a person has a lot of experiences in a specific area, it is moresuitable for him or her to serve a specific role, such as marketing manager, ratherthan a general role, the leader.

Secondly, another equivalently crucial aspect to support myview is that prior experience can be a disadvantage in assuming leadershippositions in some circumstances. With a lot of experiences, a person may formcertain rigid frameworks or stereotypes towards work or the entire business. However, with the intense competition nowadays, innovation is the main theme and thus itcalls for a potential talent with fresh perspectives and creative thoughts. Onecompelling example concerns the leadership program recruitment of Unilever Company. The program only recruits fresh graduates with less than three years’ workingexperiences. Moreover, it will develop those selected talents in a long run usingits own way that align with the company culture and strategic directions inorder to suit their skills more specially to the company’s development. This demonstratesthat in some cases, leadership does require a fresh mind without previousbackgrounds.

Admittedly, there is no denying that prior experiences helplead a team. For example, leaders with experiences can gain trust and respectfrom their subordinates easily so that management actions can be implementedproperly. Besides, experienced leaders may be more confident and decisive intheir roles because of their comprehensive understanding of the business. However, despite the merits, these considerations cannot form a firm refutation to mystandpoint.

To sum up, the issue whether an experience candidate is moresuitable as a leader is complex and controversial. Judgment can only be drawnin a subjective way rather than in an objective and definitive way. From thereasons discussed above, I am more inclined to hold that experience is not indispensablefor a leadership position.

this is an AI, not AA. The first paragraph should be your own point instead of refute the author's point. My cent only, FYI
