纠结numbers，求证

问一下，numbers到底表示数列？数位？or数字？
我是因为下面那这道题，感到有些奇怪的
Which of the following numbers is greater than three-fourths of the numbers but less than one-fourth of the numbers in the list above?

顺便再问一句digits=numbers？

就是问你在上述LIST里哪些数字是大于3/4 但是小于1/4的。。。数列的单词是SEQUENCE，DIGIT也是数字的意思

那到底numbers是指的是1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 总和=8还是别的？

Numbers are a list of numbers, not the sum thereof.

那为啥是3/4 *8中8是怎的来的？原题three fourths of the numbers,那按照你的意思是说numbers=lists总共有多少个数 = N(1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8)=8?
numbers翻译过来是不是说的是一组数里面数字的总数？？

一组数里面数字的总数 is a single term, such as a sum, a total, a number, not numberS.

The above numbers mean the whole group, the collective.

我理解这题的意思是哪个数比上面list里3/4的数大，而比1/4的数小， 6.6大于1-6正好3/4

那个8是list中一共有8个数的意思。

此题类似GMAT math 绿皮那本分册中PS PART中的61题，有空去看看吧，解释的蛮清楚的~
