Hi,

I found out that there are alot of things to remember for Global Investment Performance Standards and the standards are totally messy like prior to 1/1/2005, prior to 1/1/2011, this and that.

I really want to ask how important it is and how you guys study for it.

建议对比下2005版和2010版。其实很多东西就是把2005版中原先要求在2011年生效的在2010年版给体现了。
还有最好看一下例子，或是直接向有GIPS认证的基金公司要一份实际的statement，然后自己分析一遍，这样会明白很多。
