1. 说明大公司和小公司的产品不同，无互相竞争，削弱结论

2. 要分析结论：原题的结论是降低赤字来防止贬值，如果能分析出来这点的话，答案就不难找了

我今天晚上刚刚弄懂第3题：

that prediction would not have adversely affected the dollar had it not been for the government's huge budget deficit这是条件状语从句虚拟语气的倒装，意思是，如果没有政府的巨额赤字，the prediction就不会影响dollar，所以答案是在没有政府赤字的时候，一样影响
