001 People attend college or university for many different reasons (for example, new experiences, career preparation, increased knowledge). Why do you think people attend college or university? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

As university professors always say（SAY是把是太小学生的说法了。。。有替换成indicate？or ？）, university to students what stages to players（此用法合适不？）. University is a stage for students to develop their personalities. People come here to study new knowledge, to border their social relationship and to experience a self-manage style of life. These three basic ‘scrip’ lead every student to a different stage. （此比喻有无人看懂？？）

Learning professional knowledge is a main function of university. Unlike high school which gives students general theories on literature, mathematics, chemical and physics, university has various branches of expertise for further study. Each area contains the most advance knowledge. Students can wholly enjoy in the world of knowledge and develop themselves freely and fully.

In addition, university is the best place for students to have social-like experience（小社会？模拟小社会？求高人指点正确表达）. People of all walks come together, bringing with them different culture and customs. For universities in large country like China, there are many sub-cultural areas. People from different areas display different value and background. University provides every student the opportunity to enlarge his/her relationship net.

At last, students can also experience a self-manage style of life in university. Every day, they encounter things from study, from daily life, and from their net-work（还是觉得用词太生了。。。）. They will develop a unique way to handle all these things in life and finally balance themselves.（求高人指点~高效表达！）

In conclusion, people come to university from many reasons but most of the purposes are learning knowledge, extending personal relationship and experience a self-disciplined lifestyle. These three factors contribute to the future achievement and personal value of the students. It is a stage conducted by students themselves.

I believe these three factors attract students from every nook of the world to chase their own show in the university.

Learning professional knowledge is the main reason why people come to university. Unlike high school which gives students general theories on literature, mathematics, chemical and physics, university has branches of expertise for further study. Each branch contains the most advanced theory in that field. Economy enthusiastic research into the theory of national wealth of Adam Smith while biologyholic probe into the genetic mystery of human under microscope. In university, students reap bulky joy in the world of knowledge.

In addition, university is the best place for people to enrich their personal relationship. People of all walks come together in the university, bringing with them different culture and customs. For universities in large country such as China, there are many sub-cultural areas. University in countries like China
provides student the opportunity to enlarge personal horizon and establish relationship with different areas of people. Globalization also makes it common for international students to share information with native students.
At last, people who come to university can experience a self-manage style of life. Every day, they encounter things from study, daily life, and individual net-work. They will develop a unique way to handle all these things and ultimately balance among different tasks. This point is best substantiated by the unique ability of business persons. This group of people has nurtured the ability to handle a bundle of things efficiently and promptly, things that would otherwise beget great problem for the whole company. University is a superior place to develop such capability.

In conclusion, people come to university for many reasons and most of the purposes are to learn knowledge, to extend personal relationship and to experience a self-disciplined lifestyle. These three are given much weight by many people because each of them helps to feed the needs for personal improvement in expertise and overall ability.

encounter一般指不太好的事情哦~我个人觉得用open to 就可以了。
This group of people has nurtured the ability to handle a bundle of things efficiently and promptly, things that would otherwise beget great problem for the whole company. 不知道这句话的，whole company和前面有什么特别的联系吗？觉得突然用起来很突兀啊，没什么简单说明。还有，我查了下beget是古语了诶~这样用行吗？

beget : War begets misery and ruin.战争是苦难与毁灭的祸根。
一般用于书面语~应该没问题吧

things。。。这句话是对前面THINGS的补充说明，前面this group of people知的是商业人士，和company对应。
句子意思为：这类人（business people）具有迅速有效地处理很多事情的能力，那些事情都是如果处理不当会给整个公司招来问题的事情。
