求助：读MBA如何申请加拿大政府贷款？

求助：我前年移民加拿大，LANDING在多伦多，但很快就回国工作。现计划去温哥华读MBA，应该如何申请政府贷款？是向安大略申请，还是将身份转向温哥华申请，申请贷款的时间长吗？最高可申请多少？另外，能否向学校申请增加奖学金？请braveMBA等对加拿大熟悉的朋友给予指点，多谢了。

I know a little about the Government Student Financial Assistance. If you are a PR of Ontario, you may apply OSAP. You can check the information by visiting : Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) http://osap.gov.on.ca for detail. OSAP depends on your financial status, tuition and the time you have lived in Canada.

Provinces/Territories Outside Ontario
If you reside in a Canadian province or territory outside Ontario, you must apply for government student financial assistance through your home province. The amount and type of such funding varies according to the respective provincial or territorial guidelines. In most regions the applications are available on the web (see links below). Alternatively, you may contact the appropriate government office in your vicinity for a paper application, and, in some cases it may have a limited supply of paper application forms available for the respective programs.

Ontario	Canada	British Columbia
Alberta	Saskatchewan	Manitoba
Quebec	New Brunswick	PEI
Nova Scotia	Newfoundland	Yukon
Northwest Territories	Nunavut

Joy, and Lucy, try OSAP first. You two have to check the student loan information from the web-sites of different provinces (Click the flags I posted above). I don't know how to transfer or whether you can apply local government loan with ON PR status.

IMO, you'd better forget OSAP since you are pursuing an MBA, which is an graduate program. I never heard even one people around me got OSAP for MBA. You need to get student loan from any Canadian bank.

Ask your school if they have interest free program with local bank. Otherwise you need to go through banks' loan requirement and contact banks directly so that you can have your student loan.
