36. Dressed as a man and using the name robert shurtleff, Deborah Sampson, the first woman to draw a soldier's pension, joined the Continential Army in 1782 at the age of 22, was injured three times, and was discharged in 1783 because she had become too ill to serve.
A) see above underlined sentence.
C) 22 and was injured three times, and discharged in 1783, being

我觉得C也对啊,但是OG的解释是discharge应该是被动态,用was discharged 才行,难道was injured里的was不可以共用吗?

至于你说的was injured three times, and discharged in 1783这里。

Joined ,was injured , was discharged三个动作并列,and 在was discharged前表明是并列的前三个词,但是若理解为后一个was可以省略则仅强调并列了后两个动作。

就像OG68题那样the first trenches (that were ) cut into a 500-acre site at TH.

Deborah……joind……, was injured……and was discharged……(3个谓语动词的平行),不能省略原因是因为Deborah是被discharged,如果你省略了句意就改变了,,而那个that were cut可以省略的原因是因为定语从句的that were可以省略变成ved分词,做的是定语,cut并不是句子的主要谓语动词
