If x^4 + y^4 = 100, then the greatest possible value of x is between:
0 and 3
3 and 6
6 and 9
9 and 12
12 and 15

答案B。6的4次方大于100，为什么选B呢？

再来一题
The number 75 can be written as the sum of the square of 3 different positive integers. What is the sum of these 3 integers?
答案是13。做不出来。。。。。。

最后再来一题
Three grades of milk are 1 percent, 2 percent, and 3 percent fat by volume. If x gallons of the 1 percent grade, y gallons of the 2 percent grade, and z gallons of the 3 percent grade are mixed to give x+y+z gallons of a 1.5 percent grade, what is x in terms of y and z?
答案是y+3z。连题目都没有看懂，请问题在说什么呢？

1,由题得x的最大值在4-5之间。只有B符合。3-6的区间大于4-5的区间。
2.可能的值只有1。2。3。4。5。6。7。8，然后你把这些数的平方写出来加加看，应该很容易看出1，5，7的平方加起来是75，所以1+5+7=13
3意思是用Y和Z来表示X，根据等式1*X+2*Y+3*Z=(x+y+z)*1.5算一下就行了

感觉第一题得出X最大是10的开方
X最大即Y取最小，即y=0，则可算出来X的值，在3到6范围之间

恩，这样算出来就是3点多，只要符合那个范围就好了是吧。
