The positive integers x, y, and z are such that x is a factor of y and y is a factor of z. Is z even?

(1) xz is even.

(2) y is even.

答案是each is sufficient...

Last month 15 homes were sold in Town X. The average (MA) sale price of the homes was 150,000. And the median sale price was 130,000. which of the following statements must be true?

I. at least one of the homes was sold for more than 165,000

II at least one of the homes was sold for more than 130,000 and less than 150,000

II at least one of the homes was sold for less than 130,000

A. I only B. II only C. III only D. I & II E. I & III
答案是 A

第1题偶X偶=偶奇X偶=偶奇X奇=奇推一下就得出答案了。
第2题我觉得是选E。。

第一题

设
y=ax
z=by=abx

(1)x*z= x*by=bxy , xy even 则得到b even , 所以z must be even
(2)y even 直接可以得到 z even

第二题非常容易啊
假设最坏的情况是前8个都是130000的话后面7个的平均数是17****
也就是说后面7个肯定有一些数十大于17**** 或者等于所以

就能推出
但是第二个就推不出了因为后面的7个可以都是17****前面8个都是130000 所以第二个就不成立
第三个同理可得就是前七个都是130000 后面是17****这种情况能说明三不成立

女神的意思是这个样子的
先考虑一个极端的状况，就是前7个数都没有比130000更加小，而都是130000，那么前面8个数的average自然就是130000
这个时候，为了得到整体的average是150000，后面7个数的average就是170000（如果你要算数的话，会比这个还要大），那么后面7个数当中必然就要有大于170000的数，也就必然有大于165000的数了

然后考虑普通的情况，就是前面7个数里面，有比130000更加小的数，那么前面8个数的average 就会小于130000，为了得到150000，后面7个数就要有更大的数来做balance。 so ~~肯定有大于165000的数
