Hi, everyone, the answer of GWD7-Q4 really confused me, can anyone tell me why?

Only seven people this century have been killed by the great white shark, the man-eater of the movies—less than those killed by bee stings.

A.    movies—less than those

B.    movies—fewer than have been

C.    movies, which is less than those

D.    movies, a number lower than the people

E.     movies, fewer than the ones

The answer is B, why not E? Many thanks.

我不知道解释的对不对……这语法我也是刚看。

大家一看到Less than就会条件反射找fewer，事实上这个就是g考设计者弄出的混淆线索，依照这个线索找米错，但是呢……会有两个答案来忽悠你。

事实上，之所以选择b，是因为其对称性。gmat公则里不是还有一条么……死了都要称。这个题目前一段是用的现在完成时，后面一段的主语其实还是指代那些people，也需要用have been来完成整个句子的对称性。
