急问: reapplicant, 这次填的starting,ending salary和上次不一样可否

去年填的salary中有一部分收入属于计划外的收入吧, 去年没想那么多，觉得是收入就填了。现在觉得人力资源部门不会帮着证实, 所以想在这次申请时将salary调低。但这样admission会不会有疑问呢？如果这样调的话，需不需要在optional essay中解释。

这些天问了不少问题，感谢CD，感谢大家。

Hey there! Sadly, salaries are one of the easiest things for admissions folks to check when they do your background check. So yes, you do need to tell the truth when quoting your salary. But no, I wouldn’t worry about addressing any chances in your optional essay. If they have questions, they will bring it up. Don’t waste the space—it isn’t a big deal. Just put your best foot forward.
