E很平衡啊，since a,b,and c(分词做定语) put gold .....

对对，thrust是分词，

是平衡的，也可以用排除法吧：
because of 和 Owing to不对，所以排除a,b,c
within reach for也不对，排除d

D 选项中缺乏谓语
that thrust ancient, gold-bearing riverbeds to the surface 只是修饰volcanic activity 而已
句子的结构式：Since A, b, and c put. ....
