On a certain transatlantic crossing, 20percent of a ship’s passengers held round-trip tickets and also took their cars abroad the ship. If 60 percent of the passengers with round-trip tickets did not take their cars abroad the ship, what percent of the ship’s passengers held round-trip tickets?

A 33 1/3%

B 40%

C 50%

D 60%

E 66 2/3% 答案 C

假设
P 为总人数
Prc 为 round ticket+car abroad 的人数
Pr 为 round ticket 的人数
题目要求的是 Pr/P的值。

A) Prc/P=20%

B) Prc/Pr=1-60%=40%

A/B=(Prc/P)/(Prc/Pr)=Pr/P=50%

答案C
