free upgrade to windows 7. plus you always get home premium version of windows in the us instead of windows home basic

almost same price as you make ur purchase in china

more comfortable return policy

美国买有保险费，可以选择不买，但是出了问题去修就很贵。一般情况下不用买~ 强烈推荐还是IBM得吧，我在这边买的SONY，后悔 ~

depends on the brand you choose.

as far as i know ASUS and LENOVO has pretty convenient warranty service.

in U.S.
you can get student discount for both apple and pc
get a membership card from cosco they have discount year round
get a 3 years warranty in U.S. support is more efficient
