Advertising income usually is one main source of revenue for magazine publisher.  If D is true, "Most advertisers will continue to spend the same amount on advertising per issue", but the nubmer of issues will be reduced in half, then obviously the advertising revenue will decline, thus the profit will likely decline.  So, D is the best answer.

请问A说在新的postage rates下，新的issue会比旧的issue花更多钱，这样不就说明了profit会下降了吗?A错在哪呢?

A我的理解是: 原本的issue所需的邮资反而比proposed (new)issue少，所以if the plan is instituted，proposed issue的profit反而会减少!

a项加强结论。 比如原来邮资是12块，一年10期，总邮资是120快。现在邮资是15， 一年变成5期，邮资才75快。当然，别的条件不变。
