这道题我整个就没有太看懂～所以对于选项完全就是很迷茫～还请各位指点！

这道题是说：
某个city被围困并摧毁，现在有人去在一些可能的地方挖掘遗址。挖掘包括两层地表层（中层和底层）。然后，在中层挖到了一些pottery是在city被摧毁之后才有的，在底层没有挖到这样的东西。
答案是选C的，因为中层的pottery和 a legendary siege and destruction of the city不是同一个时代的东西
