The recent decline in the value of the dollar was triggered by a prediction of slower economic growth in the coming year. 1、But that prediction would not have adversely affected the dollar had it not been for the government's huge budget deficit,这句话本身读的就很晕，有哪位同学能给讲一讲这句话的语法？
2、我选的是A，首先是因为原文读的很晕，所以选了一个驳斥原文中提到的deficit说法的，就是说压根政府就没打算降低赤字来驳斥观点。正确答案是D，我就没有搞懂为什么是D。哪位同学能帮我吧这几个选项分析一下，谢谢啦！祝各位上7！

=it had not been for the government's huge budget deficit that prediction would not have adversely affected the dollar

这里是个虚拟语气的假设，简单点说就是如果没有国家巨大的预算赤字，这个prediction不会有这么负面的影响力
也就是说： budget deficit + prediction->dollar value decline
选项只要证明，在不受budget deficit 影响的情况下，就可以影响dollar value就行。
